Calvary Chapel St. Helena is a non-denominational community of people desiring to follow God when we’re at home, or at work, or at play.
In short, our desire is to worship God every minute of every day, day in and day out, year after year. Our heart is to equip diverse people to make an eternal connection with Jesus by helping them know what the Bible teaches and why day-to-day obedience to it matters.
Our goal is to coach and mentor people to “walk in the Spirit.” We want people to know Jesus personally, love Jesus more intimately, and serve Jesus more fervently.
A statement of faith is a written declaration of a ministry’s position on matters that pertain to the essentials of historical Christianity.
We believe the Bible to be the only inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God.
We believe there is one God, eternally existent in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
We believe in the deity of Jesus Christ; in His Virgin Birth; in His sinless life; in His miracles; in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood; in His bodily resurrection; in His ascension to the right hand of the Father; and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe that for the salvation of lost and sinful humanity, regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential, and that repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior is the only way to come into a relationship with God.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit, by Whose indwelling the Christian is enabled to live a godly life.
We believe in the resurrection of both the saved and the lost: they who are saved unto the resurrection of life, and they who are lost unto the resurrection of damnation.
We believe that where God guides, God provides: Therefore we do not overemphasize money, but seek to be Biblical in giving.
